Job Title:  MRI Technologist

Location:  Houston, TX 77030

Schedule:  (07:00 AM – 8:30 PM)

Additional Shift Notes/Requirements: 3-13-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a skilled and dedicated  MRI Technologist  to join our growing team in  Houston, TX 77030 . The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and experience operating GE MRI scanners in a hospital environment. This position offers a consistent overnight schedule and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols.
• Position patients and coils appropriately to ensure optimal image quality.
• Educate patients on procedure steps, safety guidelines, and expected outcomes.
• Review and verify MRI safety screening questionnaires prior to scanning.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure timely transmission to PACS.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment, including equipment and supplies.
• Accurately document patient information in the Radiology Information System (IDX).
• Promptly report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Assist physicians during imaging procedures when required.
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and quality assurance standards.
• Engage in ongoing continuing education and professional development activities.

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience using GE scanners in a hospital setting.

• Graduate of an AMA or J.C.E.R.T.-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Valid  State License in Diagnostic Radiology.
• ARRT (MRI) Certification required.
• BLS Certification required.
