This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

We’re looking for a PR Specialist to join our Public Relations team, which is nested within the Corporate Marketing organisation. This role supports PR channel activity for product launches, announcements and storytelling relating to customer outcomes. This role has a global view, promoting GoDaddy products and services with external audiences, sharing how GoDaddy can help entrepreneurs and small business owners effectively start and grow their business online.

This person will perform communications support-related activities for the GoDaddy Product PR team, as well as, provide some support for the broader GoDaddy PR team. The person in this position will be responsible for crafting well-written communications, including press releases, bylines, op-eds, blogs, articles and reports, as well as supporting GoDaddy processes designed to meet deadlines for both our internal and external partners. Additionally, this position will support the building of creative presentations with compelling GoDaddy storylines. The ideal candidate should have strong creative storytelling skills, including the ability to effectively incorporate key data points, and be able to drive projects with minimal direction. Additionally, the candidate should have experience supporting communications during crisis-response situations.

We’re looking for a person skilled in writing, communications, process development, public relations online distribution tools and be comfortable using media analysis for continuous improvement. They should also be skilled in using the full Microsoft 365 suite of tools and various AI technologies for organising, analysing, and supporting GoDaddy PR channel assets and resources.

Candidates who advance in the selection process will be required to supply writing samples.

What you’ll get to do…

• Stay informed about small business industry global developments, innovative technologies, and unique opportunities in global media landscapes
• Drive continuous process improvements, adopting a test-and-learn method, and participate in GoDaddy’s culture of experimentation
• Manage centralized processes, resources, repositories, and tracking to drive consistencies and efficiencies across global initiatives
• Collaborate across global teams to align content and deliverables for use in the PR channel for market initiatives
• Develop and communicate informative campaign performance reports, emphasising channel-specific media analysis
• Manage internal documentation of processes and resource repositories
• Manage newswire and other wire service distribution services as used by GoDaddy
• Coordinate aspects of GoDaddy PR channel review processes, including set-up, tracking and follow-up, ensuring meeting requested deadlines, working with internal and external partners globally

Your experience should include…

• 3+ years’ experience in public relations or corporate communications, specifically involving communications planning and execution and resulting in measurable, positive outcomes
• Proven success in driving communications results with clear performance benchmarks in Public Relations and Communications channels
• Knowledge and experience using Public Relations measurement tools and media analysis
• Excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple campaigns and activities, across multiple global markets simultaneously
• Experience collaborating across internal teams and external agencies/partners, demonstrating ability to articulate strategies, insights, and media analysis results while ensuring cohesive storytelling strategy and execution
