**Job Overview** **Fairview is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Therapy team at our St. Johns Hospital location in Maplewood, MN. This position includes a $15,000 sign on bonus!** The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services as prescribed by a physician. Follows defined treatment protocol according to department policies. Collects, assesses, interprets, and intervenes as appropriate in the care of neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Ensures patient welfare and safety standards during treatments. **Schedule:** This position will be working 0.75 FTE (60 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 12 hours on Nights. Please follow the link here to learn more information: Fairview Benefits ( + Shift differential incentives: + $4.00/hr for nights + $2.00/hr for weekends **Apply today to join our 34,000+ employees and 5,000+ system providers working to build lasting relationships with the people we serve: our patients, our communities, and each other.** As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for: + Assessing patient needs and identifies expected outcomes. + Implementing Respiratory interventions based on plan of care. + Evaluating care and the patient's response to interventions and expected outcomes. + Delivering care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patient population, or individual patient. + Operating and maintaining all Respiratory Care equipment. **Required Qualifications** + A.A./A.S. in Respiratory Care/Therapy or related field + Respiratory Therapist License issued by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice + Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). + Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) + Neonatal Resuscitation Program (American Heart Assoc) at Lakes, Northland, Ridges, UMMCH, Southdale, Woodwinds and St. Johns within 180 Days + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (American Heart Assoc) at Lakes, Northland, Ridges, Southdale, Woodwinds, St. Johns, Bethesda and UMMC within 180 Days **Preferred Qualifications** + B.S./B.A. in Respiratory Care/Therapy or related field experience + 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience in a clinical setting **Benefit Overview** Fairview offers a generous benefit package including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
