The Role

You will be responsible for :

• Transcribing voice recordings from healthcare professionals into written documents.
• Reviewing transcripts for accuracy and clarity, making corrections as needed.
• Understanding and accurately using medical terminology and abbreviations.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations in all documentation.
• Editing and formatting transcripts for readability and compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborating with healthcare staff to clarify any unclear dictations or reports.
• Utilizing transcription software and equipment efficiently to maximize productivity.

Ideal Profile

• Proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or similar transcription role.
• Proficient in using transcription software and equipment.
• Must be based in and authorized to work in the US
• Strong typing skills with a minimum speed of 60 words per minute.
• In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
• Excellent grammar, punctuation, and editing abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
