- Contract Duration: 6-months
- Worksite Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
- Compensation: $60.00 - $82.00 per hour
What you’ll do as the Web Frontend Engineer: - Design, develop, test, and deploy modern, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with UX designers and product managers to create engaging, user-friendly interfaces that align with business goals.
- Integrate frontend solutions with backend APIs and services to deliver complete, full-stack functionality.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a focus on performance, accessibility, and scalability.
- Own code quality through unit testing, UI testing, and peer code reviews.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to planning, estimation, and continuous process improvement.
- Mentor peers, share best practices, and help improve engineering standards across the team.
What you’ll bring to the Web Frontend Engineer role: - 3+ years of frontend development experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React, with experience in at least two programming languages and two JavaScript frameworks/libraries
- Solid CSS skills, including layout systems, pre/post-processors, and responsive design techniques
- Experience with Git, unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha), and UI testing tools (Cypress, Playwright)
- Understanding of backend integration patterns and RESTful services API development
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with UX designers, product managers, and multiple service teams
- Familiarity with observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Grafana)
- Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools, Java/Kotlin, design systems (Figma, Material UI, Storybook), or contributions to open source/personal projects is a bonus
